The main goal of a smart city is to optimise urban functions, boost economic growth, and improve citizens’ quality of life through smart technologies and data-driven decisions. The real value lies in how effectively technology is applied — not in its quantity. DBOX integrates automation, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to support smart city applications across Vilnius: traffic monitoring, safety in high-risk zones, early warnings for floods and storms, and real-time monitoring of rooftops, facades, and structures — extending the lifespan of city assets.
